Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / On 7 December, the winners of the 56th scientific and technical conference, which took place in Baku and was dedicated to the Constitution Day, were proclaimed. The conference took place at the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy from 13 to 29 November.
The program consisted of nine parts which included scientific reports of 286 undergraduates and 56 postgraduates. During November 20 meetings were held and 231 reports were delivered. Each report was assessed through point system by a special commission.
The deputy chair of the organizing committee Ramiz Humbatov declared the results of the conference. Today, 17 students with high points received 1st degree diplomas, 20 students received 2nd degree diplomas, 16 students received bonuses from the trade union committee, six foreigners received encouraging prizes.
The students (59) received valuable prizes from the sponsors of the conference: Тrend news agency, Siemens, Emerson Process Management, Halliburton Digital and Consulting, KBR, KCA Deutag, Total, and Azercell.
