SOCAR Completes Welding in Third Line of New Gas Pipeline

Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 April / Trend / Neftegazstroy trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan completed welding in the third line of the subsea gas pipeline connecting Qum Adasi oil producing unit and the Nargin Island, SOCAR reported on 19 April. The pipeline consists of three lines the length of each is 2,500m. The pipeline is being constructed within the framework of the program on supply of the Nargin Island with gas and water.

The pipeline is being constructed in the Hovsan construction site of Neftegazstroy. The first line of the pipeline was sunk into water in March. The second line with the length of 2,339m was delivered to the place by Kura, Garadag-4 and Mikayil Aliyev tugboats.

In January, SOCAR completed construction of 17km water pipeline on the Nargin Island.
