Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 November / Trend corr. E.Ismayilov/ "The filling stations of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Georgia will number 21 by the end of the year," SOCAR Georgia's Director General Mahir Mammadov said on 18 November.
According to Mammadov, there are 17 filling stations in Georgia and several more will be opened in several days.
SOCAR filling stations in Georgia will number 35-40 in 2009 and 60 within 2-3 years, another source close to the work said earlier.
SOCAR Georgia co-founders are SOCAR (51%), Petro-Trans FZCO (32.7%) and Ivan Chkhartishvili (16.3%).
