Kazakhstan's trade port Aktau increases transportation of oil-loading freights

Aktau international sea trade port transported more than 4.4 million tons of oil-loading freights in January-May compared to 3.6 million tons in January-April, sea trade port said.

Aktau international sea trade port transported 860,400 tons of oil-loading freights in May compared to 762,100 tons in April.

Roughly 770,500 tons of dry freights were transported in January-May compared to 442,000 tons in January-April.

Total volume of Aktau international sea trade port's transportation hit 5.3 million tons of dry and oil-loading freights in the first quarter. This index hit 1.1 million tons in May.

Roughly 795 ships operated in Aktau port during January-May.

Presently, there are six international sea ports - Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Enzeli and Neka (Iran) in the Caspian Sea.
