Israel is considering the purchasing of the Azerbaijani gas, Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michael Lavon-Lotem said in an exclusive interview with Trend.
"Of course, this issue has been on the table now. It's complicated project because of the transportation, because of the terminal that we left to be built in Israel, because of the development that we have to make in our own energy sector but we are going though," he said.
"We are trying to cut, to decrease our dependence on coal which is not very easy. But especially if you can't secure alternative resources but moving to gas is something that Israel wants to do," the ambassador added.
