Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister Natik Aliyev and UK Energy and Climate Change Ministry General Director Will Cavendish discussed bilateral cooperation in the energy sphere, the Azerbaijani Embassy to the UK said in a recent statement.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on export opportunities for Caspian energy resources to worlds market.
Aliyev participated in an event dedicated the roles of Azerbaijan and Turkey in energy security as part of his visit to London Jan. 27-28.
He stressed the special role of Azerbaijan's energy projects in diversifying European supplies, noting that discussions are underway concerning new alternative energy supply routes.
