Azerigaz Production Association of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) lays gas lines to provide Dzhorat village and the Cherkassy street of Sumgait with gas. The work is done under the State Program of socio-economic development of regions for 2009-2013, a statement of city executive power said in Feb. 17.
The length of the gas pipeline, which will cover the territory of the Cherkassy street and 18, 20 and 21 microdistricts, will be 3,500 linear meters. The length of the line, which will cover the first and second quarters of Dzhorat village, will be 3,000 linear meters.
