Russian port of Novorossiysk increases oil transportation by 2.5 times

In January, the Russian international trade sea port of Novorossiysk transported 9.4 million tons of oil compared to 3.8 million tons in Jan. 2010, the statement posted on the official website of the port said.
The port transported 1.6 million tons of oil products during this period compared to 1.3 million tons in Jan. 2010.

The port transported 12.9 million tons of different cargo last month compared to 7.2 million tons for the same period of last year.
SOCAR transports own oil through this port. In January SOCAR exported 168,200 tons of oil through the northern pipeline of Baku-Novorossiysk.
