Azerbaijan, Baku, April 22 / Trend, E. Ismayilov /
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) plans to commission three gas stations in Kiev, a SOCAR source said on Friday.
"These stations will be opened not in one day, but step by step," the source said.
He said at present work is underway to open a gas station by the end of the week. But due to the fact that the Easter holidays are coming up, this may be delayed a bit.
Gas stations in Kiev will be commissioned in late April-early May, the source said.
As SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said earlier, the company is now engaged in the re-branding of 17 gas stations in Ukraine that will operate under the SOCAR brand after commissioning.
The source said seven gas stations operate under the SOCAR brand in Ukraine

Today, SOCAR owns 60 gas stations in Georgia, as well as a number of gas stations in Azerbaijan. The company also intends to open gas stations in Romania.
