Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought over 4.1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-June from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan) compared to over 3.57 billion kilowatt-hours in January-May, the company reported.
The company bought over 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy.
Bakielektrikshebeke bought 536.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in June from Azerenergy compared to 549 million kilowatt-hours in May.
Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 91.3 percent in January-June for electricity from Azerenergy compared to 89.08 percent in January-May. In June this figure hit 102.3 percent compared to 100.4 percent in May.
In 2010 this figure hit 96.2 percent compared to 84.44 percent on average in 2009.
