Turkmen mining processing plant's capacity to be increased

The Turkmenkaliy mining processing plant is under construction in the south-east of Lebap region, Garlyk. Its annual capacity will be significantly increased.

The capacity of the first stage of the complex worth $1 billion will hit 1.4 million tons.

According to the information, the production will be increased up to 4 million tons of raw materials on the basis of potassium salt deposits in the region.

After commissioning the enterprise will fully meet the needs for agriculture.
The project has been implemented by "Belgorkhimprom" (Belarus) since August 2009.

The production of mineral fertilizers is one of the most profitable spheres. The main factors of the increased demand for these products are steady growth in world population, increased demand for grain and oilseeds for biofuel production, current state in the global market of agricultural products.

The relevant work is done in the east of the country. Turkish Ronesans Turkmen Inshaat Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and Japanese consortium Kawasaki Plant Sistems, Ltd and Sojitz Corporation began constructing a complex in the town of Mary for $1 billion. The matter rests in the annual production of 400,000 tons of ammonia and 640,000 tons of carbamide.
