SOCAR exported about 1.46 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in January-September compared to slightly about 1.56 million tons in January-September 2010, SOCAR said.
SOCAR exported about 210,000 tons of oil from Novorossiysk in September compared to about 85,000 tons in September 2010.
SOCAR exported 2.24 million tons of oil from Novorossiysk in 2010 compared to 2.5 million tons in 2009.
SOCAR transships its own oil, as well as oil of joint ventures and operating companies operating in Azerbaijan's onshore fields, through Novorossiysk.
Until late 2007, AIOC was the operator of Baku-Novorossiysk. The structure then transferred these functions to SOCAR.
