On October 2-3, Astana will host the VII Eurasian Forum KazEnergy, a representative of the KazEnergy Department of Public Relations Baurzhan Altynbekov told Trend on Monday.
"The theme of the upcoming Annual Forum is Peace in Times of Change: Building a sustainable energy future," Altynbekov said.
He said president of the World Petroleum Council Randall Gossen, Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan Sauat Mynbayev, head of the Association of oil producing companies KazEnergy Timur Kulibayev and many others will deliver speeches at the forum.
"Some 57 days remain before the opening, but the accreditation of media outlets to participate in it has already begun," the representative of the Association said.
The forum conducted by the KAZENERGY Association plays an important role in promoting dialogue in the petroleum and energy sectors of the Eurasian continent, finding the best ways of cooperation and effective solutions to current industry issues. Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan fully supports the Forum, given its importance for the country.
Over the years of its existence the KAZENERGY Forum has become not just a platform for interaction between government representatives and business, and brand recognized far beyond the country, but also an indicator of the effectiveness of the progress of this key sector of the Kazakh economy.
