In January-July, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 4.79 million tons on the country's offshore and onshore fields compared to over 4.92 million tons in January-July last year, SOCAR said on Thursday.
According to the report, SOCAR produced 700,9 tons of oil in July compared to 714,7 tons in July 2011.
SOCAR also produced a total of 25.72 million tons of oil in Azerbaijan in January-July. In particular in July, the figure was about 3.7 million tons compared to 3.8 million tons in July 2011.
More than 45.6 million tons was produced in the country last year compared to 50.8 million tons in 2010. About 8.4 million tons of the total oil volume produced last year fell to SOCAR, compared to 8.46 million tons in 2010.
