Belorusneft has started a dialogue with Kazakh KazMunaiGas on provision of its latest technologies for enhanced oil recovery in the fields, the head of Belorusneft international business development department Andrey Bokhan stated on Friday.
"We are interested in entering the Kazakh market and are ready to enter it by creating of a joint venture," Bokhan said.
According to him, the Belorusian company is also interested in joining the exploration projects in Kazakhstan, as well as in the purchase of assets, the development of which is not conducted due to lack of necessary technology.
"The three companies - Belorusneft, KazMunaiGas and Russian Zarubezhneft intend to create a consortium Soyuznefteotdacha, within which it is planned to introduce modern technology in the fields of all three countries, "the Belarusian expert said.
According to him, a delegation of KazMunaiGas will visit Belorusneft to study the technology in December.
