Armand Kayrdenov has been appointed as head of Kazakh Atyrau oil refinery, the oil refinery's external affairs department reported on Wednesday.
Earlier Kayrdenov served as the Deputy Director General of Rompetrol Group.
According to the statement, the refinery's former head Talgat Baitaziyev was resigned at his request.
Atyrau refinery - is one of the three major oil refineries operating in Kazakhstan. Kazakh National Company KazMunaiGas Exploration Production owns a 99.5-percent share in the oil refinery.
