About 13,000 consumers left without electricity due to bad weather in Georgia

A strong wind and rain damaged vegetable greenhouses in the village of Kabala in Lagodekhi municipality of Georgia. In Karsubani, Apeni, Leliana and Tsodniskari villages the wind tore roofs from dozens of houses.

13,000 consumers are left without electricity in Lagodekhi municipality of Georgia, head of public relations service of JSC Kakheti Energy Distribution Janna Didebashvili told reporters on Tuesday.

"Several pillars were felled, power lines were damaged. Intensive restoration works have already been started, and the power supply will resume by the end of the day," she noted.

A special commission will start counting the amount of the damage today.
