Azerbaijan produced 30,400 tons of aluminium sulphate or barium in January-May 2013 or 38.8 percent more than in the same period of 2012, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend today.
An increase was observed in many basic chemical products produced in January-May.

The country produced over 9,900 tons of hard polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses in January-May or 31.7 percent less than in the same period of 2012. The country also produced 310 tons of porous polyurethane plates and strips which is 19.7 percent more than in January-May 2012.
