Kazakhstan exported around 9.06 billion cubic meters of gas in Jan.-Oct. compared to 9.24 billion cubic meters in Jan.-Oct. 2012, Kazakhstan's Statistics Agency told Trend on Nov.27.
According to the agency, gas export from Kazakhstan amounted to 915 million cubic meters in October compared to 998 million cubic meters in the same period of 2012. in October the gas export accounted for 24.2 percent of the total volume of production (3.8 billion cubic meters).
Around 2.22 billion cubic meters of gas was imported to the republic in Jan.-Oct. compared to 2.03 billion cubic meters in the same period of 2012. in October Kazakhstan imported about 180 million cubic meters of gas which is by 41.6 percent less than in October 2012.
