Kazakh Kazmortransflot ups oil transportation in 2014

Kazakh National Maritime Shipping Company Kazmortransflot increased oil transportation in 2014, the press-service of Kazakh Mangistau region's authorities reported, referring to the region's head Alik Aidarbayev.

The volume of oil transportation by sea in 2014 amounted exceeded 9.6 million metric tons.

The target for this period was exceeded by 9 percent.

In 2014 the company transported 2.68 metric tons of oil from Kazakh port Aktau to Russian Makhachkala, 1.91 metric ton from Aktau to Baku. In the Black Sea the company transported 3.39 million metric tons, in the Mediterranean Sea - 1.55 million metric tons.

In March and in May 2014 Kazmortransflot transported 70,000 metric tons of oil from Tukmen port Turkmenbashi to Baku.
