Russia's international sea trade port Novorossiysk transhipped 27.28 million tons of oil in January-April 2016 as compared to 26.02 million tons in the same period of 2015, read a message posted on the port's website.
Novorossiysk port transhipped 11.38 million tons of oil products during the reporting period as compared to 11.52 million tons in January-April 2015.
The port transhipped 49.89 million tons of various cargos in January-April 2016 as compared to 47.38 million tons in the same period of 2015.
Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR tranships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered to the port via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
