The fiscal breakeven oil price for Kazakhstan will be $60.6 per barrel in 2017 and 2018, as compared to $61.6 per barrel in 2016, said the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) report titled “Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia.”
In the previous report, the IMF forecast the fiscal breakeven oil price for the country at $82.7 per barrel in 2016 and $71.1 per barrel in 2017.
In the new IMF report, the external breakeven oil price for Kazakhstan is forecast at $82.7 per barrel in 2017 and $81.5 per barrel in 2018, as compared to $86.7 per barrel in 2016.
In the IMF’s October report, the external breakeven oil price for the country was projected at $86.7 per barrel in 2016 and $82.7 per barrel in 2017.
