As of Nov. 13, daily volume of gas supplied to population and other consumers totaled 15.75 million cubic meters in Azerbaijan, Azerigas Production Union of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR that distributes gas produced in the country told Trend Nov. 13.
This figure was 10.71 million cubic meters in early October 2017.
The daily volume of gas consumption amounted to 8.9 million cubic meters in Baku, in regions of the country - 6.85 million cubic meters as of Nov. 13.
Thus, the demand for gas increased by 47.1 percent in Azerbaijan, as compared to the beginning of the previous month.
According to Azerigas, the number of consumers exceeds two million in Azerbaijan, and the level of gas supply is about 91 percent in the country.
