SOCAR resumes import of Polish gasoline to Ukraine

SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, and a number of other traders resumed import of RON 95 (A 95) gasoline produced by a Polish refinery in Plock, owned by the PKN Orlen, Enkorr information resource reports with reference to Consulting Group A-95.

The gasoline produced by the Polish refinery was last delivered to Ukraine in May 2017.

Supplies resumed in December 2017. A total of 4,500 tons of gasoline were supplied at that time. Another 2,600 tons were supplied in the first eight days of January 2018. SOCAR delivered about 1,000 tons of gasoline of this volume.

In January-May 2017, before the suspension of imports, 19,200 tons of gasoline were supplied from Poland to Ukraine. WOG, Alliance Oil Ukraine and SOCAR were the main recipients of the RON 95 gasoline.
