In January 2019, oil and gas condensate output in Azerbaijan amounted to 3.33 million tons, which is 0.8 percent less than in the first month of 2018, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the same period, the volume of gas output amounted to almost 3.06 billion cubic meters, including 1.99 billion cubic meters of marketable gas. Over a year, these figures increased by 23.1 and 26.4 percent, respectively.
In 2018, Azerbaijan produced almost 38.76 million tons of oil and gas condensate, which is roughly the same as in 2017.
The main volume of Azerbaijan's oil production accounts for the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) complex.
Gas production in Azerbaijan in 2018 amounted to 30.59 billion cubic meters (an increase of 7.1 percent), while marketable gas output reached 19.2 billion cubic meters (an increase of 5.8 percent).
