As of April 15, the daily gas supply to the population and other consumers in Azerbaijan amounted to 16.424 million cubic meters, SOCAR's Azerigas Production Union, which distributes and sells gas in Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The daily gas consumption in Baku amounted to 11.593 million cubic meters. In the regions of the country, the daily consumption was 4.831 million cubic meters.
Compared to the figures for March 2019, the average daily gas consumption in the country decreased by 36.7 percent.
According to Azerigas, the number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan exceeds 2.1 million, and the level of gas supply in the country is over 95 percent.
