Uzbekistan will be the first country to receive Kazakh gasoline, Trend reports citing LS information agency.

Kazakhstan is planning to send the first batch of fuel in July 2019.

“All gasoline will be exported at world prices, and everyone will work in terms of transfer. Most likely, the export of Kazakh gasoline will take place in July. The first party will be sent to Uzbekistan,” Kazenergy CEO Bolat Akchulakov said.

He added that negotiations on the supply with Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were initiated.

“Approximately, coverage of all wells in Kazakhstan with metering devices will cost $500-$600 million. The economic effect from the introduction of the system is expected in the range of $60 million or more," Akchulakov concluded.

The Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbayev stated that Kazakhstan plans to export about 70,000 tons of AI-92 gasoline. The export of gasoline outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has been open since June this year.
