Diesel production increases by 20 million liters at Iran’s Persian Gulf Star Oil Company

Iran’s Persian Gulf Star Oil Company produces 20 million liters of diesel in accordance with Euro 5 standard, Mohammad Ali Dadvar, executive director of the company, said.

“The company also produces 47 million liters of gasoline a day in accordance with Euro 5 standard,” Dadvar added, Trend reports referring to Shana.

The executive director said that 450,000 barrels of gas condensate are processed at the company daily.

Dadvar added that gas condensate which is processed at the company’s plant will increase by 540,000 barrels per day by the end of the year (March 21, 2020).

"As a result of the conducted work, production of processed gas condensate at each of the three sections was increased by 90,000 barrels to 150,000 barrels each, and the production will further increase by 90,000 barrels by the end of the year," the executive director said.

“The company’s plant also produces 40,000-50,000 barrels of sweet naphtha,” Dadvar added. “This product is supplied as fuel to the Arak and Tabriz petrochemical plants.”

"Some 980 million euros were planned to be allocated for the construction of the fourth section of the plant,” the executive director said. “However, as a result of the ongoing work, as well as the efforts made to increase the production capacity and eliminate the existing problems at the sections of the plant, only 90 million euros will be spent for the construction of the section of the plant."

"The remaining 900 million euros may be invested in other spheres,” Dadvar said.
