Turkmenistan’s supplies synthetic gasoline of high quality and environmental performance to the foreign market, Trend reports referring to Turkmenistan’s Orient News Agency.
As reported, the country has exported about 50,000 tons of gasoline worth over $23 million since July 2019.
A gas-to-gasoline plant (GTG) with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons of ECO-93 gasoline per year, is operating in the Ovadan Depe area, near the Ashgabat. The GTG project is based on Danish technology Haldor Topsoe.
The project of the plant worth $1.7 billion was carried out via investments of the Japanese side and Turkmengas’ funds.Japan's Kawasaki was the project contractor in a consortium with Turkish Ronesans Holding.
Currently, negotiations are underway with these companies on the construction of a second similar plant in Ovadan Depe.
