Kazakhstan boosts oil & gas condensate production in 1H2020

Volume of oil and gas condensate extraction in Kazakhstan amounted to 44.9 million tons during 1H2020, which is 1.6 percent more than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Industrial manufacturing in the country increased by 3.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019.

Thus, manufacturing of copper ore amounted to 51.8 million tons, which is 14.1 percent less compared to the reporting months of 2019. Manufacturing of petrol amounted to 2.1 million tons (increase by 7.1 percent).

Manufacturing of Portland cement was 4.8 million tons, which is 3.4 percent more than during the same period of 2019. Manufacturing of flat metal was 1.2 million tons (increase by 12 percent), of gasoil to 2.3 million tons (decrease by 7.8 percent), of electricity to 53.6 billion kWh (increase by 2 percent).

“Extraction of crude oil, natural gas and metal ores increased in 1H2020 compared to 1H2019. The volume of food products, tobacco products, pharmaceutical products, metallurgy, and machine building also increased. At the same time, production of petroleum products decreased,” the report said.
