A contract was signed between Iran’s Tehran Oil Refining Company and Chagalesh Consulting Engineers Company to increase the quality and quantity of refining of Tehran Oil Refining Company today on Feb. 27, Trend reports citing the Shana news agency.
According to the contract, 200 million euro will be spent on the project.
Under the plan, the level of environmental protection at the refinery of Tehran Oil Refining Company is to be increased, the amount of Euro 5 gasoline processed at the refinery is to be increased by 12 percent (from 6.6 million liters to 7.5 million liters daily, the revenues for each barrel of crude delivered oil is to be increased by $1.
Moreover, a hydrogen filtration unit for refining of 16,000 barrels of heavy naphtha daily, a unit for processing of 14,000 barrels of CCR product daily, as well as an ethane treatment unit, a control unit, a power plant center will be built and pipelines will be laid.
