Oil supply to exceed demand in 2022, says JP Morgan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 8

Total oil demand is expected to stand at 100.5 million barrels per day (mbd) as of 2022, while total oil supply is forecast at 101.5 million barrels per day, Trend reports with reference to the US JP Morgan Bank.

Quarterly forecast for oil supply is as follows: 98.8 mbd in Q1, 100.8 mbd in Q2, 102.7 mbd in Q3 and 103.6 mbd in Q4, while oil demand will be equal to 98.8 mbd, 99.9 mbd, 101.4 mbd and 101.8 mbd, respectively.

Oil demand is estimated at 98.1 mbd in January, 100.1mbd in February, 98.3 mbd in March, 99.7 mbd in April, 99.4 mbd in May, 100.7 mbd in June, 101.7 mbd in July, 102.3 mbd in August, 100.3 mbd in September, 101.2 mbd in October, 102.2 mbd in November and 102.0 mbd in December.

As for oil supply, the figures are forecasted as follows: 98.4 mbd in January, 98.8 mbd in February, 99.0 mbd in March, 99.6 mbd in April, 100.8 mbd in May, 101.9 mbd in June, 102.9 mbd in July, 102.7 mbd in August, 102.5 mbd in September, 103.4 mbd in October, 103.8 mbd in November and 103.7 mbd in December.
