Iran extracted an average of about 879 million cubic meters of gas daily, over the last Iranian year (March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the report of Iranian Parliament's Research Center, Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran’s gas extraction decreased about 0.5 percent, compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020).
Meanwhile, the gas consumption in the country was about 701 million cubic meters per day.
In addition, Iran exported an average of 46.3 million cubic meters of gas daily over the last Iranian year.
