Kazakhstan increases production volume of oil, petrochemicals

Trend:

The production volume of oil and petrochemicals in Kazakhstan in October 2021 grew, Trend reports referring to Committee on Statistics of Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This indicator reached 7.6 million tons, up by 10.5 percent compared to October 2020, and by 19.5 percent more than in September last year.

From January through October 2021, the volume amounted to slightly over 70 million tons, which is 2.3 percent less than last year.

Some 5.5 million tons of this volume were exported in October, which is by 5.2 percent more than in the same month of 2020 and by 0.3 percent less than in September 2021. The remaining 2.08 million tons were sold on the domestic market.

Kazakhstan exported 55.5 million tons of oil and petrochemicals in the first 10 months of last year (a decrease of 7.9 percent compared to 10M2020) while 14.4 million tons were sold on the domestic market (an increase of 27.6 percent).
