The Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery processed 6.6 million tons of crude oil, produced 1.2 million tons of gasoline, 491,800 tons of jet fuel during the last year, Trend reports citing the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan on activities in 2021.
Some 2.3 million tons of diesel fuel, 269,900 tons of reduced gases, 362,200 tons of bitumen, 35,900 tons of lubricating oils, 256,200 tons of coke and other products were also produced, the report said.
Azerbaijan increased the production of gasoline and diesel fuel by 7.9 and 16.2 percent in 2021, accordingly, compared to 2020.
Azerbaijan exported oil products valued at $699.4 million and the income from domestic sales amounted to 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion) last year.
