BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Production of associated petroleum gas (APG) amounted to 3.1 billion cubic meters in Kazakhstan in February 2022, which is 11.6 percent more than in February 2021 and 7.9 percent less than in January 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakh Committee on Statistics.

APG production in Kazakhstan amounted to 5.9 billion cubic meters from January through February 2022, which is 15.6 percent more than in the same period last year.

According to the committee, Kazakhstan imported 697.3 million cubic meters of APG in February 2022, which is 31.8 percent less compared to February 2021 and 22.9 percent compared to January 2022.

Import of APG amounted to 1.6 billion cubic meters in 1Q2022, which is 31.2 percent less than the same period last year.

Kazakhstan exported 834.8 million cubic meters of APG in February 2022, which is 47.9 percent less compared to February 2021 and 11.3 percent less than January 2022.

Kazakh export of APG amounted to 1.7 billion cubic meters in 1Q2022, which is 46 percent less than the same period last year.

A total of 2.7 billion cubic meters of APG were sold in the local market of Kazakhstan in February 2022, which is 37.1 percent more than in February 2021, but 22.7 percent less than in January 2022.

Sales of APG in the local market of Kazakhstan amounted to 5.8 billion cubic meters in 1Q2022, which is 36 percent more than the same period last year.
