BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. The sales of Iranian Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company will exceed 20.5 million tons for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), CEO of the company Abdolali Ali Asghari said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

Ali Asghari stressed that about 11 million tons of products will be sold on the domestic market, while the rest will be exported. He added that in terms of volume, the company's production will increase by 6 percent compared to last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).

“Thus, $7.6 billion worth of products will be sold in the domestic market, while $5.5 billion worth of products will be exported. So, the total sales of the company will exceed $13 billion this year,” he noted.

The CEO added that the company is currently implementing 21 startup projects worth $15 billion.

Ali Asghari also pointed out that the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company has recently appealed to the Iranian Oil Ministry to invest into three major Iranian oil fields and is waiting for a response from the ministry.

Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company is considered one of the main petrochemical companies in the country.

So, many companies, including, Jam Petrochemical Company, Kermanshah Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Persian Gulf Sadaf Petrochemical Company, Ilam Petrochemical Company, Urmia Petrochemical Company and others are operating under this company.
