UAE business circles sign deal to buy aviation fuel from Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 28. Entrepreneurs from the UAE signed an agreement on the purchase of aviation fuel with Turkmenistan through its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.

According to the exchange, a deal for the procurement of aviation fuel from Turkmenistan was concluded at a rate of $854.25 per ton, amounting to approximately $1.28 million.

Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern secured the contract for this tonnage of aviation fuel.

Furthermore, other representatives of UAE business groups have also concluded a deal with the Turkmennebit State Concern for the purchase of 300 tons of polypropylene at a price of $1,000 per ton, for a total of $300,000.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is asserting its position in the production of aviation fuel, presenting modern technologies and high quality standards. The country has successfully completed the process of development and production of aviation fuel, which led to the conclusion of significant deals with international partners.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
