Bayva-Enerji, the operator of the energy distribution networks in the western and southern areas of Azerbaijan has been implementing a number of projects in the framework of preparations to the winter season, Bayva-Enerji told Trend.
During 2005 the company carried out repair and rehabilitation works at the electrical transmission line (ETL) with the total length of 797 km. 70 Рєm of new ETL of various voltage have been laid, 88 transformer substations have been mounted. General overhaul and the current maintenance have been performed at 2552 substations and 59 transformers of various voltage have been replaced by more powerful ones. At the result of repair works 6834 transformers have been connected to the network.
