Azeriqaz JSC started gasification of the subscribers of the Imishli region. “17 of 500 subscribers receive natural gas in the region,” Nazim Samadzade, the fist deputy chairman of the Company told Trend.
According to Samadzade, gas supply of the region started from 1 December 2005. “At present the gasification is carried out within the town. Subscribers must address to the establishment to receive gas,” he added.
Azergas built 33km Imishli-Saatly gas pipeline to deliver gas to the region. The Company plans to gasify three more regions such as Beylagan, Lerik and Yardimly till 2008. The gas supply of the regions Beylagan and Aghjabadi will be restored by winter 2006-2007, Lerik and Yardimly - 2008. The gasification of these regions requires 82.5bn manats.
