The scientific-research group headed by the scholar Lutz Metzin developing the Energy policy in the Caspian region project will hold on 2-3 February the international event on the subject В"Opportunities for the use of the socio-economic and political strategy of Norway as the oil country in the Caspian region at the Berlin Free University. The interest of the Berlin Free University to the Caspian regions states, to Azerbaijan, in particular, is related to the countrys leading role in the policy of the hydrocarbons transportation, Trend reports, citing the AzerTadj new agency. Therefore, the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Germany supported the event and the Ambassador Parviz Shahbazov will speak at the event opening.
Along with the specialists from German Universities and the Baku State University experts from the Norway Institute of Management on the energy and environmental issues, as well as German press will take part in the event.
