State Oil Company is not going to hand development of Guneshli oilfield shallows to any other company, but perform operations by its own, reportedly said Hoshbaht Yusifzadeh, first vice-president, SOCAR.
This year SOCAR plans to increase gas production at this oilfield as there are some inactive wells over there today. Besides, big quantities of low-pressure gas shall be compressed and pumped onshore. These operations shall result in gas production increase of 1 to 1.5bn cubic meters.
This year SOCAR also plans to commence operations at Dan Ulduzu-Ashrafi and Umid-babek structures. As against previous years, all these operations will be performed at SOCARs cost.
