By the end of 2006, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic will install three new platforms at developed fields Trendreports quoting Rovnag Abdullayev, president of SOCAR. The relevant operations, he said, are currently being performed.
According to the schedule, it is planned to install platform #2387 at Neft Dashlari field to drill 12 wells. Platform #1887 will be installed in November on depth 64m to drill 36 wells.
Besides, operations will be performed to upgrade deep-water platform Guneshli-11. additional block will be hooked up to the platform to drill 6 gas wells. It is also suggested to install offshore pipelines a other facilities.
