In the first quarter of 2007 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to cease the catalytic reforming rig at the oil refinery plant named after Heydar Aliyev for repair, Trend reports. The rig produces components for high-octane petrol.
According to the SOCAR, presently the plan is involved in the accumulation of petrol.
In January to October 2006 output of the oil refinery enterprises made up 1099,620 tons of petrol, which is 148,210 tons more than last year.
In mid-2006 the SOCAR has carried out definite repair work at the rig. The refinery capacity of the rig is 1mln tons a year.
