A five-block platform #1887 installed on offshore oil deposit Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) has been accepted by the state, a source in SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) told Trend.
Drilling Department Bayil Limani has installed two drilling rigs, energy and pump plants, mud agitator, technological equipment, and automotive management system on the platform.
Since September 6, 2006, the platform has launched drilling a well with the projected depth of 2,950 meters. Up to date, 1,550 meters have been drilled there. The well is expected to be put into commission in the first quarter of 2007. 6 wells are expected to be drilled by means of this platform in the next year.
