On December 26, the governments of Azerbaijan and Ukraine held negotiations regarding the project of construction of pipeline Odessa-Broda, Trend reports. The discussions were held within the one-day visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich, to Azerbaijan. This project is very beneficial and we discuss the creation of such international consortium which will be attended by Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia. Such consortium is possible and real, Yanukovish said. This proposal emerges from the forecasts regarding the increase of the volumes of the oil production in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the near future. We are ready to jointly resolve the question of construction, transportation and possible development of the refinery capacity in the territory of Ukraine and near borders of the European Union, Yanukovich said.
