The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is considering the opportunities for drilling an exploration well on Bahar-2 field in 2008, Trend reports.
Primarily, there are plans to carry out geophysics here. The possible use of Khazar rig is also being considered. The field has a difficult structure, the company added.
So far, no hydrocarbon reserves have been found. The specialists believe the field contains hydrocarbon reserves, the company announced. The depth of the well is approximately 5,800 meters.
