Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend / A.Gasimova /The State Oil Comoany of Azerbaijan signed an agreement with the German Fund of Academic Exchange DAAD on study of 10 stiudents in Germany.
Last year 5 Azerbaijani students were sent to the United states and UK under the project jointly implemented with the Education Ministry.
"The SOCAR needs highly professional specialists, particularly, in the sphere of law and economy. Moreover, specialist are needed to operate the advanced equipment, Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the SOCAR, stated to the signing ceremony. AZN 15,300 manats is spent for study of every student in Germany.
"Any investment in the education actually yields positive results and no savings should be made in this respect,' he added.
