Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend / Tony Hayward has been appointed the new Executive Director of BP by the board of the Company, a message by BP has stated today. He substituted Lord John Browne, who has worked for BP for 41 years.
The message says that Lord Browne tendered his resignation after the UK courts lifted a legal injunction preventing a newspaper group from publishing details of his private life. "In my 41 years with BP I have kept my private life separate from my business life," said Lord Browne.
