Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is concluding the construction of an subsea gas pipeline of low pressure Guneshli -4 in Guneshli field ranging to a compression station on Oil Rocks field, according to Sabuhi Ahmadov, the Director of Azneft Oil and Gas Production Association.
The construction of the 18km-long pipeline is complete.
The construction of a gas-compressor station on 'Gunashli- 4' platform, situated in the shallow part of 'Gunashli' field, will complete in September. This station will enable to collect and transport gas onshore, which previously was dispersed into the atmosphere due to the absence of proper infrastructure.
Earlier the SOCAR had concluded and commissioned a 23.3km-long subsea gas pipeline of high pressure on Gunsehli - 4 platform and a compression station on Oil Rocks field.
